Studio art students investigate and produce works through the vocabulary of two- and three-dimensional forms, spatial concepts, and temporal elements across diverse mediums and technologies. Electronic Art & Intermedia (EAI) represents an innovative, evolving discipline within the Department of Art, Art History, and Design that examines novel artistic expressions enabled by technological advancements. Rooted in Intermedia's philosophical tradition, EAI offers a structure for deconstructing and merging diverse intellectual frameworks while bridging seemingly unrelated fields, fostering groundbreaking research and creative practices. This program actively promotes interdisciplinary partnerships among students and faculty, both within and beyond artistic domains.
