Geology explores Earth's makeup, formation, and development through time. Students examine humanity's impact on our planet while gaining essential knowledge to address challenges and shape policies for resource conservation, environmental preservation, and community well-being. The curriculum offers diverse professional pathways rather than limiting students to a single career track. This education transcends traditional learning environments, enriching all aspects of life. Approximately half of our alumni secure earth science positions immediately after graduation. Earning a bachelor's degree prepares graduates for geological support roles in government agencies, consulting firms, and research programs within mining/petroleum industries or geological survey organizations.
