Anthropology explores humanity through scientific, social science, and humanities lenses. This discipline examines our evolutionary beginnings, material culture, social customs, language systems, belief structures, and cultural transformations across time. Our program nurtures intellectual exploration through 30+ advanced courses, allowing students to specialize in areas like artifact preservation, medical anthropology, storytelling traditions, political systems, primate studies, or religious practices—with regional focuses including Latin America, Indigenous North America, South Asia, and the Middle East. Foundational coursework with laboratory components provides comprehensive training across anthropology's four branches: archaeology, cultural anthropology, biological anthropology, and linguistic studies.
