The five-year Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (6-P) program offers a continuous path to earning both a Master of Engineering and one of three bachelor's degrees from the department. Designed to cultivate specialized expertise and professional competencies, the 6-P program prepares students for advanced graduate studies and technical careers while fostering the broad perspective required for leadership in our complex technological landscape. Participants complete 42 units from Graduate Office-approved courses, which - when combined with two advanced undergraduate subjects - must comprise at least 36 units in their chosen specialization area. An additional 24 units are selected from a curated departmental list of mathematics, science, and engineering electives.
