The Master of Engineering (MEng) program is our career-focused graduate offering. This intensive 9-month curriculum combines advanced coursework with hands-on engineering projects, equipping graduates for professional roles or advanced studies at MIT and other institutions. With customizable tracks in CEE, the program trains students to tackle major challenges in Civil and Environmental Engineering fields.

For existing MIT undergraduates, the MEng serves as a practical continuation of the 4-year BS degree, providing real-world skills for modern industry demands. The program requires self-funding, with admitted students responsible for tuition, living costs, and seeking external funding opportunities when available.
