A bachelor's degree in mathematics offers a strong foundation for advanced studies in math or computer science, as well as career opportunities in finance, business, or consulting. Academic plans are developed in collaboration with faculty advisors.
Math undergraduates are advised to participate in a seminar during their junior or senior year. Engaging in these sessions led by research mathematicians has shown significant benefits, both for students aiming for graduate studies and those entering other professions. These seminars also enhance skills in presenting and writing about mathematical concepts, and can count toward meeting communication requirements.
The first-year application is intended for students who have concluded their secondary education and wish to pursue a bachelor’s degree as a full-time university student.
