Marketing is one of the most important aspects of a business since every company and nonprofit, no matter the size, needs marketing to get its message out, attract followers, and find or create new opportunities.
Maryville University's Bachelor's in Marketing provides students with the academic foundation marketing professionals need. Students are prepared with skills such as social media, digital media, marketing analytics, consumer behavior, project management and more providing them with the skills they need. Students can pair the marketing major with a minor specializing in business analytics to have a better understanding of the business side of marketing.
To be considered for admission, applicants should have: A high school diploma with a minimum of 22 units of credits; A high school grade point average of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale). Applicants who do not meet the criteria listed above will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be asked to submit a personal statement before an admission decision is made. The following are acceptable means of providing proof of English proficiency: TOEFL: 69 overall with no sub score lower than 15, or IELTS: 6.0 with no sub score lower than 5, or DET: 95, or PTE Academic: 47 or ELS Centre: Level 112 completed with a 2.5 grade or better. Application deadline: June 1st for the Fall semester and by November 1st for the Spring semester.
