As Wisconsin's sole dental school, we provide the most advanced clinical, laboratory, and classroom education at the postgraduate level in fixed, removable, maxillofacial, and implant prosthodontics. Throughout our program, you'll be mentored by faculty and industry professionals who embrace Marquette's mission: to educate exceptional oral health practitioners capable of delivering superior dental care to communities nationwide and globally. We'll equip you to begin practicing right after graduation. Our prosthodontic residency offers structured, hands-on clinical and laboratory training alongside rigorous academic coursework at the postgraduate level, covering fixed, removable, maxillofacial, and implant prosthodontics. The curriculum also highlights connections with other medical and dental specialties. Combining biomedical research with extensive clinical practice, the program culminates in a Master of Science in Dentistry degree.

This three-year, CODA-accredited program leads to specialty certification and prepares graduates for the American Board of Prosthodontics examination. The flexible structure allows each resident to advance at their optimal pace, building on their existing knowledge. Residents receive dedicated clinic space, study areas, and laboratory workstations. Our on-site lab can produce all necessary fixed and removable prostheses. Throughout their training, students receive guidance from board-certified faculty and support staff across all aspects of prosthodontic care.
