The Chemistry Department provides graduate studies culminating in MS and PhD degrees, covering diverse disciplines such as analytical chemistry, biochemistry, inorganic and organic chemistry, polymer science, physical chemistry, and chemical physics. According to a recent ACS study, 90% of chemistry PhD holders report finding their careers both intellectually stimulating and aligned with their professional interests. Graduate chemistry students benefit from exceptional research and academic experiences, culminating in either master's or doctoral qualifications. Research forms the core of graduate studies, undertaken in collaboration with faculty advisors. The Master's curriculum mandates 30 credit hours, with PhD candidates progressing after successfully presenting a literature seminar (4th semester) and research presentation (5th semester). The MSc program consists of 30 credits, offering flexible scheduling options. Students undertake research initiatives or produce scholarly reviews of existing literature as program requirements.
