Alongside the Law School, students have the option to enroll in a dual master of arts-juris doctor (M.A.-J.D.) program focusing on political science or international affairs. This integrated program enables full-time students to earn both their juris doctor and master of arts degrees in just four years. Additionally, law school alumni can fast-track their master of arts degree by receiving transfer credits for coursework completed during their juris doctor studies. Similar dual degree opportunities exist in collaboration with the communication and business administration graduate programs. The International Affairs program is also available as an Accelerated Degree option, permitting Marquette undergraduates to obtain both their bachelor's and master's degrees within five years.
