The Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy programs aim to equip graduate students with comprehensive foundational knowledge and cutting-edge insights into modern and emerging technologies. Both full-time and part-time enrollment options are available. Doctoral candidates and thesis-focused master's students (Plan A) conduct research under faculty guidance, developing skills to become autonomous researchers. Their work is frequently funded by government and industry grants. The department's advanced labs and computing resources play a key role in coursework and research projects. Alumni pursue careers across industries, government agencies, academic institutions, and research facilities., The Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering Department houses specialized labs for hydraulics, environmental studies, materials science (including soils), structural analysis, and computational research. Key facilities include the Water Quality Center and the Engineering Materials and Structural Testing Laboratory., The department offers focused specializations in: Construction Engineering, Environmental and Water Resources Engineering, Structural Engineering and Mechanics, Transportation Engineering, and Materials Science.
