The Physics Department is dedicated to outstanding undergraduate physics education while upholding the Ignatian principle of cura personalis, which emphasizes holistic personal development. This department functions as a tight-knit community comprising faculty, staff, and students. Our professors are pushing boundaries in both physics research and teaching, leveraging their specialized knowledge to inspire student engagement in learning and academic pursuits. Students have the opportunity to earn both degrees within a five-year timeframe. Those maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher in mathematics, science, and engineering courses during their junior year qualify to apply. A maximum of nine graduate credits can be applied toward fulfilling requirements for both degrees.
