The Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry equips you for professional Christian service roles within faith communities or environments serving those in need. Pastoral ministers have the honor of accompanying individuals during life's pivotal moments—sacramental rites, youth transitions, illness, grief, trauma, loss, birth, and death. Their service extends to parishes, hospitals, hospice care, nursing homes, correctional facilities, and university campuses. With an aging population, there's growing demand for certified lay chaplains to bring Christ's comfort to the elderly, incarcerated, terminally ill, and others confronting life's profound transitions. If you're drawn to using your gifts to serve where needs are greatest, explore Pastoral Ministry at Madonna.
