Madonna's Environmental Science program specializes in water quality studies. Alongside building a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, and physics, you'll delve into comprehensive training on assessing water safety, purity, and other critical parameters.
The curriculum examines the nine standard chemical tests used in water analysis services, plus specialized testing for mercury and E. coli - two prevalent contaminants affecting water systems across the Midwest and nationwide.
Gain practical experience through internship opportunities that shape your professional path while working toward your environmental science degree at Madonna. Many students have secured teaching internships, guiding high school learners while advancing their own education.
Current high school students and high school graduates who have not enrolled in a post-secondary institution after high school apply to Madonna as a freshman.
