The Children and Families program provides multiple academic pathways, including a Bachelor's degree (major), minor, associate degree, and certificate, all designed to establish a solid foundation for comprehending child development from birth to age eight, along with family and community influences that support learning. As a Madonna student in this program, you'll engage deeply with early childhood growth concepts under the guidance of committed faculty. Child development theories will become tangible through hands-on interactions with children. You'll develop skills to design and evaluate settings, resources, and engagements that nurture children's emotional, social, intellectual, and physical growth. Backed by faculty mentors and university supervisors, you'll build assurance in your teaching abilities. This program opens doors to numerous fulfilling career possibilities through extensive practical preparation.
Current high school students and high school graduates who have not enrolled in a post-secondary institution after high school apply to Madonna as a freshman.
Cumulative high school GPA of 2.8 or above
Requirement for Undergraduate Admission:
TOEFL: 70 (iBT); IELTS: 6; MELAB: 76
