This combined degree program equips students with thorough training in ministerial leadership while developing specialized skills in social justice advocacy. Alongside its connection to the Master of Divinity program, the MA in Social Justice can also be paired with the Master of Social Work curriculum.
Through the Master of Divinity program, graduates will gain: Skills to analyze pastoral situations through the lenses of scripture, tradition, and human sciences (Theology/Religious Studies), Capacity to examine and influence contemporary social, economic, political, and church structures to meet evolving ministry needs (Cultural Context), Proficiency in applying Christian principles, spiritual practices, and ministerial approaches with personal and professional growth (Personal/Spiritual Development)
