For those interested in pursuing Theology studies further, the Theology Department offers five distinct programs: Theology Major, Religious Studies Major, Theology Minor, Religious Studies Minor, and Pastoral Leadership Minor. Both the Theology and Religious Studies Majors allow students to thoroughly explore either Christian theological traditions or modern religious studies. To declare a major, students must apply to the Director of Undergraduate Programs and complete 36 credit hours (12 three-credit courses), including at least five 300-level courses. While not mandatory, students may take up to two approved non-departmental courses for the theological studies track or three for religious studies. Theology majors benefit from faculty advising to support their academic journey.
