Loyola Marymount University's Graduate Yoga Studies Program offers comprehensive exploration of Yoga traditions through a Master of Arts degree, available in both on-campus and hybrid formats. This advanced program enables students to examine Yoga's extensive heritage, its connections to spiritual practices, and philosophical foundations. Participants engage with ancient scriptures, acquire Sanskrit language skills, investigate therapeutic aspects of physical postures, and analyze contemporary Yoga's role in modern society. The curriculum now includes specialized tracks in Yoga Therapy and advanced certification options. Tailored for both practitioners and instructors, this graduate program deepens understanding of Yogic principles and their practical implementation. Admission occurs annually in the Fall term through a cohort-based system with limited enrollment.
