The Corporate Concentration provides a distinctive and impactful method to equip students for careers as transactional attorneys serving businesses and investors. Upon completion, participants in this program will possess both theoretical knowledge and practical understanding of core corporate law principles, encompassing business organizations, M&A deals, and securities laws. Every student in the Concentration gains hands-on experience through the Business Planning course, where they develop drafting skills and explore the complete process of funding a simulated startup venture. To conclude the program, students must complete four extra elective credits that expand their expertise in corporate transactions, along with an independent research seminar.

Qualification Requirements
In order to apply for admission as a first year student to the JD program, you must have completed at least 90 semester units from an accredited undergraduate institution and expect to graduate and receive a bachelor's degree before the start of Orientation (typically in August). Final transcripts confirming conferral of all undergraduate degrees and advanced degrees must be submitted prior to the beginning of classes in the fall. A personal statement is required and assists the Admissions Committee in selecting a highly-qualified and diverse entering class. Only one letter of recommendation is required but we will accept an additional letter for a total of two per application. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a resume, The minimum TOEFL score for admission into most graduate programs is 100 internet-based (IELTS Overall Band Score of 7)
