Drawing is our earliest artistic expression, beginning in childhood as we start to interpret the world visually, forming the foundation of human visual communication. However, drawing evolves into a refined and valuable skill when it serves as the cornerstone for creative exploration and visual reasoning that examines perception and artistic representation. Introductory courses emphasize building fundamental technical abilities and analytical thinking, while advanced classes, including hands-on workshops, provide opportunities to experiment with diverse approaches to visual creation. The BFA in Drawing cultivates students' abilities to establish a versatile practice applicable to various future paths, such as applying artistic vision or illustration skills to positively impact society and innovate within the discipline.
