The Master of Science in Finance equips students with analytical and communication abilities essential for sound financial decision-making by applying financial theories and quantitative methods. As financial markets become more globalized and competitive, professionals need a strong foundational knowledge to navigate the growing complexities of the finance industry. This rigorous MS Finance degree prepares graduates to emerge as leaders in this exciting and fast-evolving sector.
Spanning 36 semester hours, the MS Finance program is designed as a full-time, three-semester curriculum. Students must complete a minimum of 18 finance credit hours, including three core courses, with the remaining credits tailored to their professional aspirations. Additionally, at least 18 credit hours must be at the 7000-level or above. The program offers eight distinct Career Tracks and one Specialization to align with each student's specific objectives

Qualification Requirements
A conferred baccalaureate (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited college or university by the expected date of entry into the graduate program.For admissions, we look at the entire application package, including transcripts, rather than focusing on any one test score. We target a 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale) undergraduate grade point average and a 600 or better on the GMAT , with a balance between the verbal and quantitative sections. For Fall 2021, we will waive the GMAT requirement for well-qualified candidates ( >3.5 GPA and good references are required).
The Graduate School requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 GPA scale or in the last 60 credit hours in the previous undergraduate or graduate coursework.
International applicants must also provide an official TOEFL score of at least 550 on the paper-based exam, 213 on the computer-based exam, or 79 on the internet-based exam to be considered for admission. IELTS Minimum Score: 6.5
