The Department of Agricultural Economics & Agribusiness provides Master of Science programs with three specialization tracks: Agribusiness Management, Natural Resource and Environmental Policy, and Agricultural Economics (refer to Tables 1-3 in the Graduate Student Handbook). Each track offers both thesis (research-based) and non-thesis pathways. The non-thesis M.S. option delivers comprehensive academic training in a challenging environment, preparing graduates for careers in either private industry or government agencies.
For the non-thesis M.S. track, all specializations mandate completion of 36 semester credit hours, with a minimum of 18 credits from 7000-level or higher courses. Note that research assistantships are unavailable to students pursuing the non-thesis option.
