The MEd program caters to educators pursuing advanced credentials and specialization in gifted education instruction. Designed with flexibility, it supports both full-time and part-time students while preserving cohort-based learning. Course offerings follow an annual schedule. The Gifted Education MEd curriculum includes six research and assessment credits, 18 credits in gifted education, nine elective credits in a chosen subject area, and a three-credit gifted education practicum. LSU mandates master's degree completion within five years.
