The Master of Science in Nutrition equips students for leadership roles in the nutrition industry. This program strengthens professional expertise as a food and nutrition expert. It offers rigorous coursework for advanced nutrition studies. Students select from diverse electives to supplement a foundational curriculum covering nutrition science, research methodologies, biostatistics, along with communication, teaching, and counseling techniques. Flexible elective options allow students to focus on personal interests. A research project serves as the program's capstone requirement. This 36-credit M.S. in Nutrition program accepts all 14 graduate credits from LIU Post's Dietetic Internship for qualifying students.
