LIU's prestigious TV Writers Studio (TVWS) offers a unique hands-on writing program. At its core, the TVWS aims to train and cultivate exceptionally talented professionals with robust portfolios, equipping them to launch careers as writer-producer-entrepreneurs in television.
Annually, the TVWS operates two concurrent groups: a first-year cohort and a second-year cohort. Selected students engage in a rigorous two-year program where they work both collaboratively, simulating a television writers' room, and independently, developing their own TV pilot and web series concepts.
