The Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice program prepares students for careers in various law enforcement and legal fields, including policing, corrections, court services, probation, juvenile justice, public safety, victim advocacy, homeland security, and international security. Alongside our comprehensive core curriculum that delves into criminal justice theory and practice, students can select specialized electives to tailor their studies. The program keeps pace with current developments in criminal justice theory and technology. All participants gain practical experience through our hands-on practicum program. High-achieving students may qualify for the prestigious Justice Semester at American University in Washington, D.C. LIU Post graduates pursue diverse careers as law enforcement officers, federal agents, legal professionals, security experts, forensic specialists, and more, with many continuing their education through our Master of Science in Criminal Justice program or law school.
