The College of Arts and Sciences provides an interdisciplinary BS biochemistry major program. This biochemistry degree is overseen by a cross-departmental committee featuring experts in biochemistry, bioorganic chemistry, and molecular/cellular biology. The committee handles degree administration, curriculum oversight, research opportunities, and student advising. Linda J. Lowe-Krentz currently serves as the program director. Advisory roles are filled by faculty from both Biological Sciences (including Behe, Kuchka, Lowe-Krentz, Lang, and Iovine) and Chemistry (including Glover, Pires, and Thvenin). Lehigh University's Chemistry Department delivers a distinctive and engaging academic experience for students at all levels, offering BS, BA, MS, and PhD programs in Chemistry, along with an interdisciplinary BS in Biochemistry.
