The biological sciences encompass the examination of living systems across various scales, from molecular structures and functions to the dynamics and evolutionary patterns of organism communities. The Department provides four distinct pathways to develop expertise in this expansive field. The Biology B.A. and B.S. programs offer a comprehensive foundation in biology, allowing students to tailor their studies to align with individual interests. Specialized programs include B.A. and B.S. degrees in Behavioral Neuroscience and Molecular Biology, along with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Qualification Requirements
Applicants must be completing or have completed the equivalent of 12 years of education (primary and secondary) or the program of study that leaves them eligible for admission to university-level study in the educational system in which they are enrolled. For example, students who are completing or who have only completed O level or GCSE/IGCSE study are not eligible to apply and should do so when they are completing the final year of A level study, or the equivalent.
