The Master of Arts in Teaching program for Early Childhood Education is designed for students with a bachelor's degree in a field outside of teacher education. This pathway results in Ohio teaching certification for pre-K through fifth grade. Participants engage in rigorous, supervised practicum experiences across preschool, primary, and upper elementary levels, including diverse urban environments.
This intensive program spans 19 months of full-time coursework, commencing in mid-May of odd-numbered years and concluding with student teaching followed by December graduation.
