The Educational Specialist program in School Psychology follows a scientist-practitioner approach, training professionals to be evidence-based problem solvers. With an eco-behavioral foundation, the curriculum focuses on delivering psychological services through consultation to address learning, behavioral, and social-emotional challenges in individuals from infancy through young adulthood (up to age 22).
Participants develop skills not just for working with individual students, but also for driving systemic educational improvements. Ed.S. graduates emerge ready to lead and transform support services across diverse learning environments.
Applicants without a master's in school psychology must first complete the M.Ed. program before advancing to the Ed.S. degree.
