The Bachelor of Science in Long-Term Care Administration equips students with the knowledge and credentials needed to pursue state and national licensing as administrators in various long-term care environments such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, retirement communities, group living arrangements, adult day care centers, hospice services, and other extended care settings.
Students can obtain the certified dementia practitioner (CDP) certification before completing their degree. Upon graduation and successful completion of state and national nursing home administration (NHA) licensing exams, graduates employed in long-term care become eligible to apply for the health services executive (HSE) qualification.
