The Gender and Sexuality Studies Bachelor of Arts program employs an interdisciplinary, intersectional framework to explore how concepts and systems influence perceptions of gender, sexuality, and physical forms across different cultures and historical periods. This academic discipline originated from sociological research on human sexuality alongside feminist movements, LGBTQ advocacy, and anti-racist efforts addressing social disparities. The curriculum masterfully blends theoretical foundations with practical applications, weaving together diverse viewpoints that inform contemporary understandings of gender and sexual identity.
