The Master of Public Health (MPH) program is a 42-credit graduate curriculum tailored for professionals working in or pursuing careers in public health. Students must complete 15 core credits addressing five key public health domains:

Qualification Requirements

A bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited by a regional or national institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Undergraduate preparation in the proposed major field equivalent to that acquired by a graduate of Kansas State University, or evidence of an appropriate background for undertaking an advanced degree program, and
Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale or GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 hours of coursework. This GPA is based only on courses graded on a multi-level scale, usually A, B, C, D, F.
TOEFL iBT - 79, TOEFL PBT - 550, IELTS - 6.5
A score of at least 550 (paper-based) or 79 (IBT - internet-based) on the TOEFL is required to be considered for admission. Applicants with scores of 600 (paper-based) or 100 (IBT) or above may be considered for regular admission, those with lower scores (550 and 79) may be admitted provisionally and must demonstrate
proficiency in reading and writing English and in understanding spoken American English to the satisfaction of the Graduate School through completion of the English Proficiency Test (EPT) prior to enrollment.
GRE scores (required of all applicants). There is no minimum score required, but we like to see a score of 300 when the verbal and quantitative scores are added together.
