The Master of Science (MS) in Toxicology for Human Risk Assessment stands as a unique program in the U.S., offering specialized training in this field. Our cutting-edge curriculum prepares students with the expertise required to launch or progress in careers focused on human health and environmental risk evaluation.
The nine-month academic component covers core principles and testing methodologies employed in traditional risk assessment, along with contemporary approaches to toxicity in modern times. This is followed by a seven- to twelve-month practical internship opportunity with various organizations, including government bodies, NGOs, corporations, or private entities.
Upon completion, MS graduates possess the necessary skills to contribute significantly to toxicity data analysis and its application in regulatory frameworks across government institutions, private companies, and industrial settings.
Admissions will waive this requirement for degree applicants only if a student has completed a four-year degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
Students must have IELTS Academic Band Score equal to 7, or a minimum score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), and 100 (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
