This program offers focused academic instruction in health education, promotion, and communication, highlighting approaches for engaging with individuals, groups, and communities. Participants gain expertise in designing, executing, and assessing programs, along with comprehensive knowledge of behavioral science concepts. As a capstone requirement, students develop a practical proposal connected to their fieldwork. Graduates qualify to take the national certification test for Certified Health Education Specialist status. Part-time enrollment options are available.
Admissions will waive this requirement for degree applicants only if a student has completed a four-year degree from an accredited U.S. institution.
Students must have IELTS Academic Band Score equal to 7, or a minimum score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), and 100 (internet-based) on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
