The ScM program is designed for students deeply committed to environmental health research or fieldwork. Many participants already possess hands-on experience in laboratory, field, or population studies and seek to expand their expertise. After completing a year of coursework, students undertake original research guided by faculty advisors, culminating in a thesis. Program alumni are exceptionally prepared for doctoral studies and highly competitive for roles in government agencies, private industry, and NGOs.
