The Recording Arts and Sciences Bachelor of Music program prepares musicians to become skilled audio producers and engineers, blending technical proficiency with deep musical understanding. This five-year dual-degree option pairs hands-on performance training with comprehensive recording technology education. Students take supporting courses in electrical engineering, mathematics, sciences, and computer science at Johns Hopkins University's Whiting School of Engineering on the Homewood campus. An optional fifth year allows for completing the Master of Arts in Audio Sciences with an Acoustics specialization through additional coursework.
