We connect with students, faculty, and communities through cutting-edge nursing education, practice, and research to make a global health impact.
Our pre-licensure BSN program graduates 226 students annually, integrating advanced patient care simulations—using both high-tech mannequins and trained live actors—into clinical training and coursework. The senior-level transition course features critical skill reviews and NCLEX preparation (the RN certification exam). In their final semester, seniors complete an intensive 7-week capstone experience, working full-time under a preceptor in hospital or clinical settings.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) equips undergraduates for professional nursing careers and qualifies them to take the NCLEX-RN exam. The first two years combine General Education in sciences and psychology with nutrition studies, all while building a robust liberal arts foundation.
