The digital video and cinema program's primary goal is to equip students with the skills to become compelling visual storytellers. Through this concentration, learners gain comprehensive knowledge of the artistic principles, technical methods, and evolving technologies that shape narrative storytelling. The curriculum fosters analytical thinking about how media tools craft content, communicate messages, and influence viewers.
Students receive training across all production phases - from scripting and pre-production to filming and editing - while exploring diverse formats. The program also examines the growing creative and commercial possibilities within visual media. To enhance their education, participants are advised to pair this specialization with liberal arts studies through a minor or additional major. Completing an internship is strongly encouraged.
