This program provides learners with an extensive selection of focused classes. The expanded curriculum is ideal for those aiming to transfer to competitive bachelor's degree programs. Every participant in this program will study six core disciplines: theater history and cultural heritage, acting methods, performance processes, either stage design or management, production team participation, and technical workshop experience. Specialized classes may cover voice training, musical theater, sound engineering, costume creation, show management, and modern theater analysis. Through mastering versatile live performance techniques, students develop a professional skillset for careers including technical theater specialist, production coordinator, performer, vocalist, and choreographer. Participants will gain hands-on experience through stage performances and technical crew roles. The program includes practical training in IVC's theater workshops for constructing sets and costumes.
