Associate of Arts in Emphasis in Social and Behavioral Sciences in Irvine United States | Irvine Valley College

This program aims to equip students for professional paths and/or advanced studies in social sciences, either broadly or within specialized fields. The curriculum focuses on understanding human behavior at both individual and group levels: our social dynamics, the political, economic, social, and psychological frameworks that shape societies, and the complexities of fostering meaningful connections across cultures. Through applying scientific methodologies, students learn to gather, interpret, and analyze data, strengthening their capacity to understand group dynamics and make informed ethical, political, and societal choices.
