The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECpE) provides four graduate degree pathways in electrical and computer engineering: a thesis-based Master of Science, a creative component Master of Science, a conventional Ph.D., and a direct admission Ph.D. program. ECpE delivers comprehensive undergraduate and graduate curricula that equip students with essential skills for careers in electrical engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, and cybersecurity engineering. Our students engage with a diverse academic community and gain hands-on training to launch impactful careers. Departmental research concentrates on five transformative interdisciplinary fields: bioengineering, cyber infrastructure, distributed sensing systems, energy infrastructure, and nanotechnology.
