The Master of Community and Regional Planning (MCRP) program equips students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on expertise to become planning professionals. The curriculum focuses on three key areas: land use and transportation systems, community design and revitalization, and rural/environmental planning strategies. With guidance from their faculty advisor, students can customize their specialization.
To earn the degree, candidates must complete a 48-credit, two-year curriculum consisting of mandatory core courses (21 credits), elective options (21-23 credits), and either a capstone project (4 credits), professional report (4 credits), or thesis (6 credits).
