To enhance your accounting skills with sharper critical thinking, better decision-making analysis, and stronger communication abilities, consider our Master of Accounting (MACC) program. Tailored for professionals in both public and corporate accounting sectors, this thorough curriculum equips you for either the CPA or CMA certification exams. No matter your career aspirations, we provide the necessary support. Iowa State University's Ivy College of Business introduced the Master of Accounting program in 2000. The MAcc curriculum specifically addresses the demands of accountants by emphasizing the interpretation and evaluation of financial data for strategic decisions. It enables undergraduate accounting students to earn an advanced degree while fulfilling the 150-hour educational requirement for CPA licensure in most states. Upon passing the Uniform CPA Exam, graduates meet Iowa's certification standards. Our distinguished MAcc faculty hold national recognition, contributing as editors for leading academic journals in their fields. They organize yearly professional development workshops for continuing education and offer industry consulting services. These practical engagements bridge theoretical knowledge with real-world application for our students. We are dedicated to delivering an enriching and impactful learning journey.
