The RATE program engages students in exploring critical, long-standing inquiries regarding rural and agricultural societies across global history, the technological innovations these communities have created and utilized, and the environmental frameworks they inhabit. This distinctive interdisciplinary approach fosters vibrant discussions among students and faculty with varied interests, equipping future scholars to apply and expand their knowledge across diverse professional environments.
