Our Ph.D. program provides concentrations in both classic chemistry disciplines like analytical/bioanalytical, inorganic/materials, organic/bioorganic, and physical/theoretical chemistry, along with a flexible interdisciplinary chemistry option where students collaborate with their advisor to create a personalized curriculum. The program also features focused tracks in Materials Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Biomolecular Science, Chemical Instrumentation, Forensic Chemistry, and Chemical Education. Currently, over 160 graduate students participate in our program, with 93% working toward their Ph.D. We take pride in our strong track record, with approximately 70% of doctoral candidates at ISU successfully earning their Ph.D.
degree.
