A marketing major introduces students to the key business decisions and strategies involved in meeting consumer demands for products and services. Key areas of study include product design, pricing strategies, promotional techniques, customer engagement, digital platforms, data analysis, and sales techniques. Graduates gain qualifications for diverse roles including brand management, market research, digital marketing, consulting, advertising leadership, sales positions, social media management, retail operations, and event coordination across various industries. The Marketing Department provides this specialized program, where students fulfill general education requirements (including fundamental business courses), prerequisite subjects, core business curriculum for the BS degree, plus 18 credit hours of marketing-focused coursework.
