Bachelor's degree with completion of prerequisite courses
The required courses must be completed with a grade of B- (80 percent) or higher. In some cases, an official course description or syllabus may be requested to ensure the course you completed aligns with the required MS prerequisites.
If you have an outstanding prerequisite course, it too must be completed with a grade of B- or higher. A final transcript indicating successful completion of the prerequisite is required prior to matriculation into the program.
Completedor will completeyour undergraduate bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited university, college or foreign equivalent as determined by a recognized credentialing agency, before your intended fall start date.
Earned a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Obtain a copy of your Commission on Dietetic Registration RD credential, if applicable.
Craft a personal statement, including your career aspirations. Tips for writing are included on the graduate application page.
Plan to secure three letters of recommendation (not a relative). You will need the names and email addresses of your submitters for the IU CAS application. Please make your recommenders aware of your application and deadline, and give them three to four weeks to prepare. They will be sent a link to submit the letters.
Request unofficial transcripts from all universities attended. If offered admission into the program, you will be required to submit official transcripts from all universities and colleges attended before starting the program.
Be prepared to pay the IU CAS application fee.
GRE test scores not required.
TOEFL iBT of 79-99 or IELTS of 6.5-7.0 will take the English for Academic Purposes (EAP) placement test. Admitted students with Duolingo scores (min. accepted score - 110) will also be required to take the EAP placement test.
