The Master of Arts in History program at IUPUI's School of Liberal Arts provides three specialization tracks: Public History, U.S. History, and European History. The U.S. and European History tracks cater to students aiming for doctoral studies, those desiring a supplementary degree for fields like education or library science, and individuals pursuing personal enrichment.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with an overall undergraduate grade point average of at least 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale and a minimum grade point average of a 3.3 (B+) on a 4.0 scale in the student's undergraduate major.
Three (3) letters of recommendation.
All undergraduate coursework transcripts. A copy of each transcript may be sent initially, but official transcripts are required before enrolling in the program.
