In today's competitive job market, earning two degrees simultaneously can give you a significant advantage. You'll obtain both qualifications in less time than pursuing them separately. The first degree is McKinney's J.D., providing the foundational theory, practical abilities, and real-world training all our students acquire. The second is an advanced degree from one of our eight collaborating institutions.
The J.D./M.P.A. combined program includes McKinney's comprehensive J.D. curriculum alongside a Master of Public Administration from IU's O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
This dual-degree approach equips you to navigate both legal and administrative systems within public sector, nonprofit, and government-related organizations. During your final year, you'll work on an interdisciplinary research project guided by faculty mentors from both academic programs.
